'I was very tired and zoom fatigued before we started, but by the end of the session I felt full of energy, it really lifted my spirits'

PIP DUKE
Picture
Pip Duke is a freelance artist, teacher, director, coach and mentor to movement artists. And a mother to two girls. Having trained at the Royal Ballet School Pip went on to dance as a soloist with the Bayerische StaatsOper and Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet, with Nederland’s Dans Theater under director Jiri Kylian, and with Hofesh Shechter for The Place Prize in the creation of ‘Cult’. She joined the faculty at London Contemporary Dance School in 2002 and went on to complete her Master of Arts in Dance Education and Training. She is a qualified Montessori teacher and accredited Relational Dynamics 1st coach. She is passionate about the role art plays in society, the worth of the individual, and the importance of empowering artists to trust who they are so they move through their life and work with calm and confidence. She founded dancers-talking in 2019 and in her spare time dabbles in not very good poetry.
I am delighted that Marcus will join us from California to meet the dancers-talking community.  Marcus will offer bespoke advice on how to draw on your innate strengths in life and work.
Dancers will be invited to bring questions and have time to chat to Marcus directly in an informal setting.
